(More customer reviews)Poorly packaged/shipped on the part of the seller. The box was ripped up by the time it arrived. The box that it was sent in should not have been used as a shipping box, it was that very thin and very flexible cardboard that is frequently used as packing material in other shipments, it was not the normal strong cardboard that a shipped box should use.
Product itself is very far from meeting expectations. Cheap wood that was barely stained - I was expecting nice wood that was well colored. Within a few days the top part started to discolor (not shown in the amazon pic, but the top silver dome gets replaced with a small wooden disc when you use it as a bird bath). The main post was already laughably light (think of what happens when you start to stain wood, but you just barely wipe a cloth of stain over it once, so just a touch of color at the very surface and only in some areas). Within 2 months the top disc has basically lost all of its color, and both the disc and pole have started to crack.
