(More customer reviews)I bought this feeder for my Grandma. I was worried it would look cheap but took a chance. To my surprise, the feeder was really cute, it was painted to look slightly weathered, which was great. I was really happy with it. The reason I scored this 3 out of 5 stars is that when putting the feeder together, we found that not all the pieces screwed in properly. One piece had paint on the inside of the hole which made it extremely difficult to screw the sections together without stripping the threading. We got the feeder together and it looks great. I just don't know if it will hold up after the struggle of putting it together. I hope they're not all made the same way.

(More customer reviews)The birds love this seed. At $1 per pound, and the fact that shipping is by Amazon Prime, it's reasonably cost effective compared to other bird seeds on Amazon.
My one complaint is that a five pound bag is much too small. They should be selling this in a 10 pound minimum size, and preferably have options for 20 and 50 pounds.

Brinno GardenWatchCam with Flash Drive, Item GWCTLC130A Review

(More customer reviews)The first GardenWatchCam I received lacked the essential bottom housing plate that contains the tripod mount socket. After an exchange, I found that the camera would only accept flash drives formatted FAT 16, limiting the size of the flash drive. My second unit also has an erratic timer. At the one minute setting, the camera snaps its photos at about 40 second intervals. At the custom 20 second interval, it snaps at 14 second intervals. While tolerable, it also makes the 24 hour setting pretty useless for me.
Brinno's included documentation for the unit is minimal at best.
Two emails to Brinno's customer service have gone unanswered and unacknowledged. It appears that buyers experiencing negative issues with the unit are on their own.
The camera does take acceptable time-lapse movies, but with the issues above, I'd like to warn folks off of it until Brinno becomes more responsible in their quality control and customer service.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Railhook through Amazon after I had spent a lot of time and money trying to find something which would attach to my deck and allow me to hang flower pots outside the deck. I tried several types and none worked on my railing. They all required a good deal of "adapting" and they often pulled out due to the heavy weight of the pots. The Railhook uses a clever attachment which fits very well on the railing spindles. This has worked great for me and looks very attractive. The only downside of this product is, of course, the rusting of the screws. Why can't manufacturers use better screws?

(More customer reviews)I did not purchase this feeder from Amazon but wanted to share my review. The feeder that I usually have to fill every 2 days was needing to be refilled almost twice a day, so I wanted a bigger capacity feeder. I hung this feeder in place of my current one, so there was absolutely no problem with the hummingbirds "finding" it. Although they immediately started visiting it, I noticed that most of the birds did not perch and the ones that did seemed to have difficulty drinking from the ports. The perches are too close to the port for most of the birds, especially the females. I had not used the red hanging wire, so cut it into four equal pieces and fashioned perches that extend out from the flowers at a distance that evidently the birds find more "comfortable." Even though not all the ports have perches, now at least some do and I again have hummingbirds sticking around a little longer instead of just getting a drink and flying away...

The item's box was torn in several places and when I opened the item, there were several of the pieces broken that needed to be glued. It seems the person who reviewed this product before me also had the same trouble. The product also was very dusty. This should not be. Amazon packaged the birdhouse box in a larger box, therefore greater handling of the product should have happened. So disappointed. This isn't the first time I ordered a product (non-book) from Amazon that came defective, damaged or looking worn and used. I expect better Amazon. Stick to selling books.

(More customer reviews)Update: Since my initial review in July I have purchased the feeder and it works fine and for the money is an excellent buy.
I see several folks have marked it down due to dripping I thought I'd comment as I had the same problem with 2 similar feeders until I did some research and discovered that with this type of feeder it is absolutely imperative that when you fill it initially you make sure it is COMPLETELY full. The concept works on a vacuum - if air is initially in the feeder than it will gradually force out the nectar. If it starts full - a vacuum is created as the birds withdraw nectar and it should not drip (unless of course the feeder itself is defective - different story!).

There was also no place to indicate which style you might want, which also indicated to me that both hooks would be included. I received my least favorite hook of the two. Seems expensive for what you get and seems too expensive to return it. Sloppy and somewhat fraudulent advertising.

The copper top suet feeder is a flimsily made piece of junk. The copper top is no more than a piece of copper flashing. Add the cost of the product to shipping and handling charges and discover how outrageously over priced this item is. I could have done much better at a brick and mortar store and wish I had. I would have returned it but didn't want to hassle the additional costs, so I cut my losses and stuck it up on my porch. The product did not even include a hanger, if you can imagine. The birds are totally embarassed to be seen hanging out at it.

Rubicon Fly Through Feeder Review

(More customer reviews)Bird houses and feeders made from the recycled milk jug plastic is a very "Green" design feature. I did find feeders made by Birds Choice made in Wisconsin. This Rubicon Fly through feeder is the same material, but a bit larger than the other feeders I found at Amazon.
Now that I have received the feeder, I see the roof design is greatly flawed because the lower edges of the roof where the water will drip off is OVER the food tray by a good 1/2". The rain will drip down directly into the food tray and get food wet. So much for their claim of keeping your bird food dry. Looking back at the listing in Amazon I now see there is no end view showing the roof lines in relation to the food tray.
I should have stuck with the "Birds Choice" feeder. It is about the same price, not quite as big but a much better "roof over the tray" design. I will add some plastic under the edges of the roof to bring them out past the tray. A half hour of my time fixing this is easier than returning the feeder.
